History

In 1990 a small group of businessmen met together to form a program that recognised, profiled and highlighted the success and achievements by local industry in a number of different categories.  In 1991 a series of networking events was founded.  They would honour 15 businesses each year and present the Premier Regional Business Award to one othe the year's nominees.  A few years later, the Greater Dandenong Chamber of Commerce took over the responsibilty of coordinating the awards, they have since grown to become one of the most prestigious local business awards in the country.
