"Only a Stones throw away, but worlds apart - the
destination is Dandenong" |
|
A new campaign to promote Dandenong will be aired on
Prime TV throughout Gippsland over the next few months.
The campaign will see four 30 second and one 15 second
ad screened in approximately 450 high profile timeslots
between now and Christmas.
The ads with the theme of "Destination Dandenong" have
been designed to position Dandenong as a cosmopolitan
destination for shopping, food, culture, and seeks to
raise the awareness of these attractions in the wider
Gippsland market.

The Chamber's Mission:
"To promote
regional growth through leadership, support programs, networking
and civic involvement."
Together with the City of Greater Dandenong the Chamber is in
the process of implementing a Community Development and
Mentoring Program. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
integrates social, ethical, environmental, economic and
philanthropic values in the core decision-making process of a
business. The Chamber is taking a leadership role by encouraging
its members to be involved in the program by adopting the
following:
-
encouraging
and supporting active employee involvement in the
development of communities in which they work;
-
encouraging
self sufficiency for community groups through information
and knowledge transference from employees;
-
empowering
and building relationships with community groups
-
providing
support to improve the management capability of local
community groups
